BurnMix 150

150 / November 2022 / John Kuhn

My listening habits have changed over the years due to BurnMix.  I listen to music all year round, but about four months before my next mix my ears start perking up and I begin looking for things I like.  When I find something I save it to a BurnMix draft on YouTube.  As I keep adding songs, I keep listening - rearranging and discarding things along the way.  Slowly a list emerges that changes right up to the last minute - trying to find a nice flow.  In the end, all I can say about the mix is these are songs I like - and that stood up, at least for my ears, to repeated listenings.

There are a few repeat artists (Bonnie Light Horseman (who holds the record for having the same song - Deep In Love - on three of our mixes), Sammy Rae, The 1975, Mumford and Carlisle, and Joy Oladokun), but the rest of the artists (with exceptiion of Jack Johnson) are new to both me and BurnMix.

I hope you enjoy listening.  This is our 150th mix - amazing in it's own right.
