Sylvan Esso / Hey Mami
Sounds like it was recorded under a bridge, a subway station, or some other forgotten place. Pretty but innocuous until 1:33... That drop begs for a stereo with a low end, I pity the laptop speaker that meets this song.
More Info from Last.FM
Sylvan Esso is a Durham, NC, USA duo of vocalist Amelia Meath and electronic musician Nick Sanborn. Their début was the double A-side 12" Hey Mami / Play It Right (16 Jul 2013), featuring a capella and instrumental versions of each song. Sanborn, who plays bass in the genre-destroying Megafaun, creates intricate, pulsing grooves for Meath’s voice to inhabit. Sites: SoundCloud, Deezer, Discogs and BandCamp Read more on Last.fm more...

Ebony Rhythm Band / Outro
Quick little riff on an Isaac Hayes track that served as the backdrop to this Wutang song
More Info from Last.FM
Ebony Rhythm Band have an incredible sound that seems to take the heavy bottom of New Orleans Funk and merge it with the trippier elements of Detroit psychedelic soul -- no surprise, considering they hailed from Indianapolis, a point about halfway between the two cities! The tracks on the set have a really great tripped-out groove -- using lots of guitar and organ over heavy rhythms, in a style that's a bit like the Meters at times (dusty groove) Read more on Last.fm more...
