I am attaching some comments to the songs this time around. Generally I fall in love with moments in songs and try to explain them to Kate (my wife), but she usually rolls her eyes. I think she’s happy I now have an outlet to get some of this music love out. I’m sure several of these songs are already on people’s radars, but I’m also sure some of them are not.

  1. The Tallest Man On Earth / The Wild Hunt

    A swedish Bob Dylan. Hard to listen to a whole album of this guy, but he is a great "songwriter."

  2. The Radio Dept. / Heaven's on Fire

    Great nu-disco groove on this one. Their vocals are always kind of hard to understand, but I love this song.

    The Radio Dept. is a Swedish dream pop band signed to Labrador Records. They have released four full length albums, and a series of singles and EPs. The band originated in Lund, Sweden.   4. The Black Keys / Tighten Up

    Saw Dan Auerbach in concert and his performance was the definition of bombast. This latest record from The Black Keys is pretty heavy and awesome. You can't argue with his guitar tone.
