Go The F*ck To Sleep

21 / February 2012 / Joe Choi

What a tough mix to follow - January may have been the best yet.  It deserves to be renamed the Year of the Water Dragon because that's what 2012 is and it apparently comes around only once every 60 years.

Around the time Jacob was born a co-worker of mine sent me a pdf copy of a children's book titled Go The F*ck To Sleep by Adam Mansbach.  At that time, I saw the humor in it and thought that it was at worst a novel idea.  Holy shit....after the past month of my insane kid refusing to sleep through the night, I can't tell you how many times I've said those words.  This mix includes snippets from the audio book narrated by Samuel L.  Not sure if it really works, but I ran with the idea.

This mix could've also been named "Search and Destroy" because I hadn't heard of 90% of these bands until I started putting this mix together, so I don't have much to add...

Let me if you guys ever want the pdf of the book.  Love all the music you guys expose me to - thanks.
